Born in Sumara Russia on July 12, 1900, Charles Alexander Rigelhof was the son of Alexander Rigelhof and Suzanne Opel.
They emigrated to Canada in 1912 and moved to North Battleford, Saskatchewan. The family then moved to Windsor, Ontario where Charles met Agatha Ubell and they were married on November 21, 1925.
Charles and Agatha moved to their home on Bernard Road in Sandwich East and brought up their six children there.
Charles worked for 38 years as a technician in the Ford Motor Company's engine plant in Windsor and retired in 19xx. Later they moved to Riverside, Ontario where they lived until Charles passed away on December 20, 1984.
